    Hello!

I’m encountering an issue when I try to use a WPForms block that is placed inside a synced pattern (it doesn’t happen on a non-synced pattern). When I try to insert the pattern, it makes the browser tab freeze, and I have to force close it.

Here’s a recording of the issue locally, on a brand new installation of WordPress 6.6.1 and WP Forms lite 1.9.0.2: https://d.pr/v/S0kAFH. Additionally to the console error in the recording, there are many requests in the Network tab in the Developer Console on Chrome to /wp-json/wp/v2/block-renderer/wpforms/form-selector?context=edit[...]. That issue looks related to this open issue in the Gutenberg repo.

I’m using Twenty Twenty-Four and no other plugin besides WPForms. Chrome used is on 127.0.6533.120.

I encountered the same problem. Browser crash when trying to use WPForms block inside a composition. It crashes when I try to add the composition into a page.

    Hi @fmfernandes and @pjehan,

Thank you for your patience while we worked on a solution to resolve the issue.

I’m happy to let you know that the problem will be fixed in WPForms Lite version 1.9.1.

In the meantime, you can address the issue with a patch. Please download the zip file here: https://a.supportally.com/f/PmlkMR. Once you unzip it, you’ll find two files.

Next, go to wp-content/plugins/wpforms-lite/assets/lite/js/integrations/gutenberg and replace the original files with the two files from the link above.

This should resolve the issue. Here’s a screencast to demonstrate the process.

If you have any questions or need further assistance with using WPForms Lite, please feel free to reach out.

    Thanks!
