    Form is not sent if recapcha is activated.

    When trying to send a contact form with reCAPTCHA enabled, I get the message “An error occurred while trying to send your message. Try again later.” and the message is not sent.

    The message sent refers to the 2nd message in the message personalization list:
    [Sender’s message sending failed]

    * When I remove the reCAPTCHA keys on the integration screen, the form is submitted normally.

    The error occurs on other sites that I manage. and I cannot say when this error started to occur.

    When the error occurs, the following code is displayed at the end of the url: #wpcf7-f1373-p1374-o1

    I tried to create a new contact form, and the error persists.

    I tested it by turning off the theme, and also turning off all plugins.
    The error actually appears to be related to reCAPTCHA.

    Wordpress version: 5.6
    Form 7 Version: 5.3.2
    Recaptcha Version: 3

    NOTE: I am not using V2 keys in place of V3 keys, I am using V3 keys

    The form worked normally, everyone stopped working without explanation.

    I have solved this now I think. I use Autoptimise Plugin and have now unselected “Aggregate JS-files?” in the settings. It appears this was doing something to the recaptcha code.

    I don’t use Autoptimize, the problem may be different.

    I identified the following errors in the browser console:

    GET https://domain.com/site/wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7/includes/css/styles.css?ver=5.4 net :: ERR_ABORTED 409

    GET https://domain.com/site/wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7/includes/js/index.js?ver=5.4 net :: ERR_ABORTED 409

    GET https://domain.com/site/wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7/modules/recaptcha/index.js?ver=5.4 net :: ERR_ABORTED 409

    I already solved it using the hCaptcha plugin on JetPack Forms.

    The Jetpack form is very good, the only reason to use the CF7 was the possibility of having the protection of google’s reCaptcha.

    I Spect this information will helps someone.
