• After a lot of research I tried modifying the authnet-checkout-form.php and copying it to the theme files after removing the
after the “First Name” label but it doesn’t work.

I just need the form labels to be to the left of the input fields. If someone has the labels INSIDE the input areas and they disappear when that field is clicked on that would be even better!

    Thanks

  • You just need to use CSS.

I’ve tried to no avail. I was hoping someone had already done this and could provide the CSS. float:left doesn’t work. display:inline-block doesn’t work.

I’m using a shortcode to display the form, from what I’ve read the php overides the shorcode. it’s the line breaks in the php but I followed the other examples and it’s not working. I tried the template=”link.to.the.php” and that didn’t work either.

Maybe if you provide a link to the page on your site, someone will be able to make some suggestions.
