Form Length / Category Question

    Hi, two parter question here. I’m in the midst of putting together a theme, and was curious about these two things.

    1. There is a ‘Leave A Reply’ textarea field using the page.php page I believe. I need to make this field shorter. Where can I adjust this?

    2. I have a category called ‘General’. It looks like so:
    https://mysite.com/wp/?cat=2
    On other sites, I see theirs go to:
    https://mysite.com/wp/general

    How can I get it to say general instead of ?cat=2?

    Thanks for the help. Just getting started in wp, and it’s pretty cool.
