Form not redirecting when additional settings on_sent_ok is set

I have a form that uses a conditional field and on_sent_ok as an additional setting. The form does not redirect unless the conditional field is checked and data is input into the field. I really need the redirect to work without the conditional field being submitted as it is optional because I do some data processing on the redirect page.
