• Hello i have this plugin installed on my website: https://courtneyandander.com/#RSVP

    when you click submit, you don’t receive an email or get a confirmation.

    there is an email hooked up to the plugin,

    heres the code:

    <div class=”vamtam-rsvp-form”>

    <p>
    <label for=”your-name”>NAME:</label>
    [text* your-name id:your-name]
    </p>

    <label for=”events-dropdown”>MEAL OPTION:</label>
    [select events id:events-dropdown class:wpv-chosen-select “Chicken” “Salmon” “Vegitarian”]
    </div>
    </div>
    <p style= “text-align: center;”>[submit “I AM ATTENDING →”]</p>

    <p style= “text-align: center;”>[submit “I AM NOT ATTENDING →”]</p>

    </div>

  • having the same problem with my site. worked some time ago – but just had a report that it doesnt anymore.

    click submit and all i get is a spinning icon and nothing else. not even the required fields are working.

    actually i just checked again and it seems the security plugin Acunetix caused the form to stop working. i have deactivated this plugin but would be nice if it worked with security features.

    Though the plugin successfully sends millions of emails every day, there are a host of issues that can stop or delay emails on both the sending and receiving ends. It depends entirely on your local Server & WordPress configuration. You will need to investigate this issue for your particular local configuration.

    See Contact Form 7 Email Issues. There is a link at the bottom of the page to a comprehensive and detailed article which covers many issues. Most people that work through this information appear to be able to resolve their email sending & receiving issues.
