Hi, we have a contact form on the home page and contact page of this site. When on a desk top the form submits perfectly, but when you try it on a mobile we get the error message ‘the form was unable to submit. Please contact the site administrator.’

I’ve tried it in a few browsers on mobile and seem to get the same result every time with the error message.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Update – it seems updating the theme Divi has fixed the issue for now, but seems to be a reoccurring issue. Is this something you’re aware of?

Open issue, same problem. WPForm error on mobile: The form was unable to submit. Please contact the site administrator.

I have the same problem and get the same error message on mobile phones.
    This is my website:

I hope you can help me fix this problem!

Hey @ryansvfx – Thanks for reaching out and I apologize for the trouble!

I tested the form on my OnePlus 7T, and I was able to submit the form. However, I noticed that you’re using Hummingbird cache. When you have sometime, can you please disable JS minification and see if that helps?

@leelalove @femkejaping When you have sometime, please create a new ticket, and I’ll be happy to assist you.

    Kindly,

I am having the same issue. Have contacted my site administrator, tried to disable JS files minifying and some other tricks, didn’t help.

    Can you help, please.

    BR, Aleksandra

Hi guys, i have found that again the form has stopped working on mobile and desk top version. I had to update WordPress, and now it’s working again. Surely the form can’t just stop working every time a new update comes out?

I disabled the js but doesnt seem to have changed the proplem

Hey @ryansvfx – In this case, the other possibility is that the Anti-spam token is exceeding the lifetime of the pages and is causing the form to be considered as SPAM and will prevent form submission. You can read about how to increase the time of the anti-spam token here.

In case it helps, here’s our tutorial with the most common ways to add custom code like this.

For the most beginner-friendly option in that tutorial, I’d recommend using the Code Snippets plugin.

It might also be worth enabling the activity log and then wait for the next issue like this to happen and see if anything shows on the activity log. You can read how to enable that here

Please let me know how it goes!

    Kindly,

Hey @ryansvfx – We haven’t heard back from you in about a week, so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread for now. But if you’d like us to assist further, please feel welcome to continue the conversation.

    Thanks!
