Form Not Working – Template Fix

I’m sorry i’m not sure to understand what the problem is. Could you paste some screenshot ?

Index (home page) is showing up at the top of the form.

Field #2 – Description can not be entered – no data can be put into the field – therefore the form can not be submitted. The form is dead.

Other fields work – but form does not.

How do I get rid of content at top of page?
How do I get the form field “Description” so that it can be highlighted?

I see, i guess there’s something wrong with the theme now i’ve improved the way WP Idea Stream is loading its template part since version 2.2 (You are using 2.2 of the plugin right ?).

What i would do to be sure it’s a theme thing, i’d activate twentyfifteen to see if everything is fine.

If so, i’d create a specific template inside the theme’s directory, or best i’d create a child theme to do so. Then i would put the ideastream.php template in it by copying the page.php template of the theme by getting rid of the top header/footer the theme is adding at the top.

I’m having the same issue. Not matter what theme I pick I can’t enter anything in the description field. I’m using WordPress 4.5

How come when i pick any WordPress default theme in WP 4.5, eg: TwentyFifteen, it’s working for me ??

Am i lucky? Or should i have some doubts when you say:

If i misunderstood your question, please provide some details about it + your setup.

It appears to be a Chrome / Mac issue. In Chrome Version 50.0.2661.86 (64-bit) the description box is a completely blank, no editor loads so no text can be entered. Firefox 46 loads the editor and all is well.

Still weird!

Screenshots were made using a MacBook with Chrome Version 50.0.2661.86 (64-bit)…

Must be some sort of plugin conflict on my end then.
