Form refreshes and closes even if not submitted

  • We are using Form7 with Elementor Pro. We have an issue where our popup closes even if form is not filled out correctly (See popup here – press the red button in the right corner: https://motorelectronics.com/). Can we fix this? Either by making it not close before an inquiry is actually send and the popup is sure of this, or do so that the popup shall be closed manually, and can only be closed manually.

    – Or stop the popup/form from refreshing?

  • Using Elementor with CF7 has previously been reported as an issue in this forum.

    I’d recommend you advise the Elementor plugin author – they may be able to help. I imagine most plugin authors would want to ensure that their plugin works correctly with a very popular plugin like Contact Form 7.

    The popup could also be the cause of the problem. I suggest you setup the same CF7 form just on a separate page & see if you get the same issue.
