Hi, I just updated to 4.0.33 and the form has stopped sending/working. In preview mode when I hit submit with an empty form I get the validation error messages I would expect (email required, etc), but on the site, hitting submit gets no errors and no re-direct. A properly filled out form is not sending, but the test email sends. I’m at a loss. Any ideas would be very helpful. you can see the form here https://www.glenellynmoving.com/
    Thanks

Hi beckyddesign try the following URL. Let us know if it helps you.

    Regards

Same here. I’ve been using FS Contact for 4 years and had no problems. None of my settings are different or changed either. It just doesn’t work anymore. No test email, no contact form emails, nothing. I tried every troubleshooting procedure on all the help pages too. Help please.

And yes, my host is fine, email accounts are fine (tested on Mac, PC, Android) and we’re not blacklisted.

Also, I’ve already donated to FS – I think a few times, in fact!

@scottdaris sorry to hear about your issue. I have sent a message to @mike Challis to investigate this further.

    Thank you

Thank you. I also just disabled every plugin except FS Contact and still nothing is going through. Please ask @mike Challis if there is anything else to look out for. The last time our forms worked was on February 28th! I need to have a solution by Sunday night before Monday business hours. This is very weird since we’ve been using FS for years ??

Do you know what PHP version your server is running and what aPache version? I have been using this form for 4 years without any issues. I suspect it has to do with your server settings.

We’ve also been using it for 4 years without incident. HostGator specs are PHP 5.3.27 to 5.4.17 and Apache 2.2.24 and 2.2.25. It’s 5am and still no go. What else can I look for?

You might have to check the server log files. See if they point to any errors……

Can I please PM you or Mike the last successful email we got from our web forms? That is, the source with all the header info? Maybe you can see something in it, and you may also be able to tell me which setting in it WORKED so that I can revert our forms back to it…since then I’ve changed settings here and there to try and troubleshoot. If I can PM you or Mike it would be greatly appreciated.

@beckyddesign, sorry to hijack this thread, but who knows, you may find something helpful in it. Hopefully ??

The only error I get after sending a test is this:

[29-Mar-2015 05:14:55 America/New_York] PHP Warning: Module ‘ionCube Loader’ already loaded in Unknown on line 0

Is it harmless enough or do you think this may be an error that is affecting FS form functionality?

If you click on my name here it will take you to my website. You can send me a message through my contact form. Also did you follow the instructions that I submitted in the link above in reply number 2?

Try the following test. Create a new form just with the default fields. Add the shortcode to a none published page. Carry out a test and see what happens.

Yes, I did all the tests from that link. I also tried a default form and it still didn’t send. I’ll PM you. Thanks again for your help.

The error above could be causing the issue, it would not hurt to try and report it to your host.

OK, I will. Yes, you may be right since we never got that error before.

Resolved! We were running a too-new version of PHP (5.5) and we had some php settings that weren’t compatible such as ‘ionCube Loader’ and the PHP Mailer and I think the Exim setting. Too complicated. Thanks for your help, @mbrsolution.
