Form submission date for profile forms

Hi,

Thank you for creating this great plugin!
I need to save submission date whenever user clicks on submit (I am using profile forms). I checked wp_usermeta table and understood that submission-date won’t be saved by default, Although it is mentioned in the list of updates on 1.0.55. I thought maybe I can add a date-picker field and set to today by default and make it invisible to users; but I learned that It doesn’t set to today by default, user need to click on date-picker and then choose Today. I wonder how I can fix it?
