I am running into issues that I can’t figure out. Chrome-based browsers are going nuts and getting caught in a form submission loop when AJAX is enabled. It shows a message after each submission stating, “This form is invalid.”

But if I turn AJAX off, the forms will appear to submit, but not show up at the recipient.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

After further testing. This appears to be an issue with reCaptcha. However, after I removed reCaptcha to test, the form still submitted two times rather than just once when sent from Chrome on iPhone.

    Hi

I hope you are doing good today.

Could you export your form, upload it to google drive or dropbox, and share a link in your next reply so we could take a closer look at this?

    Kind Regards,
    Kris

    Hi Kris,

Using a mobile device, please go to https://saskatoonauto.ca/detailing/ and scroll nearly to the bottom of the page to the red CTA that says, “Book your detailing appointment…” and click the button labeled “ONLINE”. This will open the modal with a test form that contains reCaptcha. If you fill out the form you will see the issues with filling it out and once you are able to finally submit, it will go into a submission loop, until you close the modal.

*Note: Do not use the one at the top of the page. It is linked to a different form.

I have exported the form and placed it for download here…https://www.dropbox.com/s/i0t4v6nuf83pbpr/forminator-copy-of-book-detailing-appointment-form-export.txt?dl=0

I’m temporarily using the Popup Builder plugin for a workaround, but I prefer not to. As such, when it is enabled the form won’t appear in the built-in modal. If that is the case when you visit, please let me know? I may be doing some testing at the time. But please download the exported form and please have a look.

The same thing seems to be happening with Popup Builder. If you click the phrase “Book your detailing appointment…” in the CTA near the bottom of thehttps://saskatoonauto.ca/detailing/ page it will trigger the popup. The calendar worked once for me and then never again. I am unable to select any dates or manually input a date. I tried flushing the caches an it made no difference.

I restarted my iPhone and then I was able to load the calendar again.

    Hello @shanekartz !

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having this issue!

I’ve checked the current version with Popup Builder and also asked my teammates to take a look on their devices as I was not able to reproduce any of the issues on my iPhone. We unfortunately weren’t able to replicate the mentioned issue at all, though please let us know if you’ve received any duplicated submissions from our tests.

I’ve also tried to replicate this on my test site with the provided form and also had no luck.

Would you be able to help us out a bit further with the debugging? If so, please do the following:
    – set up a separate temporary page with the Hustle popup and share the link
    – please also let us know which version of Chrome are you using

If you’d like to share the link privately, please feel free to do so via our contact form:

    Please use the template below:

    Hello @shanekartz ,

We haven’t heard from you for some time now, so it looks like you don’t have more questions for us.

Feel free to re-open this ticket if needed.

    Kind regards
    Kasia
