    Hello,

when testing the new version of Smaily Subscription, i discovered that now submitting of the form redirects the user away from my website, where user must solve google reCaptcha.

In my opinion that is a very troublesome process for a user, and I, as a website owner, am better with few emails added by bots (which i can clean later on manually myself), rather than force each and every user to solve captcha.
I also don’t like a fact that users are redirected away from my website.

I like the previous version (ver 1) of the plugin better, as there process is smooth and easy for a user (no redirects, no captchas).
Are you planning to make the subscription process configurable (e.g. enable ajax, disable captcha solving)? Also for how long would the old plugin still work? I can see that currently plugin is marked as deprecated.

    Thank you

@turtletrail sorry that the answer took so long – somehow we didn’t get a notification. Trying to fix it as we speak.

The problem got really serious, because instead of regularly cleaning their databases from bots, common users didn’t do anything and it started to affect the deliverability of their emails. So we set the CAPTCHA mandatory and auto-cleaned users databases.

We are considering making this a configurable option OR try to use another version of Google CAPTCHA, which would be invisible to the end user.
