• Hi,
I have just installed gravity form plugin with its registration add on and Gravity form eway plugin.
I have created a registration form with recurring payment field.
I disabled the sandbox mode in backend. But when I fill the form in front end with sandbox credit card details, the form is being submitted successfully. Should not it display the error in credit card credential message and block the form submission?

    Thank you

    G’day Roman159,

Yes, should give you an error if you use a false card number like 4444333322221111.

Do you have the correct customer ID set? Have you looked at MYeWAY to see if anything is being recorded there?

NB: It’s 10pm Friday night here, so support is pretty limited now. I’ll watch emails but might not be able to do much until tomorrow morning.

    cheers,
    Ross

    Hi Ross

Yes my customer ID is correct.
I also got the email from eway saying transaction failed.
The problem is the member is being created without payment.

    Thank you

    Hi Ross,

I have made the form using gravity form, and use this extension for payment, how can i track the eway response? i need not submit the form until the payment code is success.

    Currently the problem is:
Once i enter all fields with test credit card, cvn number card holder name and expiry date, then form submitted but the payment is not success.

    I need:
If the payment not success then form need not to submit.

If you can help out me on this that will be great help.

    Thanks

I think eWAY must not be doing any authorisation check when you submit the recurring payment details; I have a ticket open with them now to clarify that.

It would be safest for now to manually create your new users when you get confirmation from eWAY of successful transaction. Non-recurring payments only proceed when the card details are correct, but I’m not sure now about recurring payments so best to play safe for now.

    cheers,

Better still, change the user creation step to require manual activation. That way the user details are all pre-populated and you just need to activate the user once you get confirmation that the transaction was successful.

@roman159 eWAY have confirmed, they don’t validate the credit card details until the first transaction occurs. Best to manually activate the users once the eWAY transactions are approved.

    cheers,
    Ross
