form submit button opens json in new tab

    Hi guys,

    I’ve just set up my newsletter form, manage to integrate it into WordPress, but the issue is when the Signup button is pressed, a new tab opens and a JSON thingy is happening there:

    {“success”:false,”errors”:{“fields”:{“email”:[“The email field is required.”]}}} or success, the result is the same.

    The user is added though to the client list, so is working. But all the other errors (if a field is left empty, or check box in not selected) and success state is shown in a new tab.

    I’m using WordPress ver 6.7.1 and MailerLite – Signup forms (official) ver 1.7.13.

    Is there any fix for this?

    P.S. I’ve seen that the issue was present in the past https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/mailerlite-embedded-form-redirecting-to-json/
