Form submit buttons not working

  • Hello,

    I’ve tried to use multiple form plugins (Visual form builder, Ninja forms, form builder), and I have had the same problem with all plugins. Whenever I press the submit button, the page refreshes but nothing happens. However, when I do this in preview with all the plugins, it will save the entry in the database, and will show the “success message”. So for whatever reason, the forms only submit in previews.

  • First, identify which form plugin you are currently using and then post in that plugin’s dedicated forum via its page in the Plugin Repository.

    The thing is that it’s not the plugin that’s not working, seeing as I have the problem with any submitting from my website. My coworker already tried posting it on the specific plugin fora, and people told her it was not the fault of the plugins but something else in our wordpress (other plugins, or theme not compatible). I’ve tried different themes and disabled all my other plugins, but neither worked.

    Have you tried:

    1. deactivating all plugins.

    2. switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    3. Uploading and activating Jetpack.
