Form submit not working

  • Hi folks,

    I’ve just noticed that the submit button on my Mailerlite signup form is not working. This definitely worked at some point in the past as I tested it when I first installed the plugin.

    It’s not clear to me what exactly is wrong, but in Firefox and Chrome see a JavaScript error in the console:

    TypeError: form_container.submit(…).validate is not a function

    Wordpress 5.3.2, Mailerlite plugin 1.4.3.

    Any ideas?

    Hi Andrej,

    Well this is weird. This morning I had an organic subscription for the first time in months. I checked and the form is working again.

    Things I did yesterday to try and fix it (but nothing fixed it as of yesterday evening)

    – Created (but did not use) a new custom sign up form in WordPress
    – Created (but did not release anywhere) an embedded form in Mailerlite
    – Made some trivial edits on the WordPress page to try to “force” a rebuild of the page

    I’ll email you the account details anyway so you can check on your side.
