• I’m having an odd issue with popups. I’ve created a gravity form connected to Mailchimp for an opt-in freebie, and the opt-in itself works properly when it’s free standing. What’s supposed to happen is the user fills out the form, they hit submit, and the form & its description are replaced with a confirmation message. You can see that in action here (with Ajax enabled): https://ae.eyeheartmy.site/wpd-bb-pop…/craft-a-stellar-pitch/
However, when it’s attached to a button, the form doesn’t appear to process when someone hits the submit button (even though it does process). When Ajax is disabled, the page reloads and the thank you message appears when you click the button again, which is not what we’re going for. I’ve disabled Ajax on the Break into the Media opt-in to demonstrate the difference, which you can see here: https://ae.eyeheartmy.site/free-tips/

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Okay, so it works with the Beaver Builder built-in subscription form, so I guess that resolves it. However, I really would like to know how to make this work as Gravity Forms are SUPER customizable and I just love how Gforms works.

    Hi @eyeheartcreative

    Thanks for getting in touch.

I’ll test with G Forms as I use this too, but in a slightly different way and I’ll see if I can see how to make this work.

    Hi @eyeheartcreative

Sorry for the delay in replying – this one actually slipped through the net.

I’ll revisit this now and see if I can figure something out.

When I test, the submit button of a G Form simply does nothing, unless you disable AJAX. That, I think, is in line with your description.

Not that I will not look at this issue as Gravity Forms is a popular plugin, but the Beaver Builder opt-in form does have an integration with Beaver Popups to record the number of impressions vs the number of opt-ins – the idea being that later I can display a conversion rate somewhere in the Beaver Popups manager.

That said, I should probably do the same for G Forms ??
