Form submits but nothing added to list

Hi,

I have a similar issue, except an email is being generated but no entry is being added to my MailChimp contact list.

Here is my code:

Hi Nico,

Did you figure it out already or did you switch to another plugin? Can’t seem to find a form by my plugin on the provided link. ??

Anyway, if a success message is returned it means the data was received by MailChimp. Not sure what could be going wrong there. If you have a place for me to test that would be really helpful.

@richard – got a link? As you’re using Contact Form 7 integration, please open a different support topic to keep things organized. Does your MailChimp list have any required fields besides EMAIL, FNAME and LNAME?

Hi Danny,

I did figure out the problem but thanks for the response. In case anyone runs into this in the future, here’s what happened. The plugin was installed and working correctly but I did not realize this because whenever I tried testing it from my own computer by filling out the form and submitting it I did not receive the confirmation email and nothing was added to my Mail Chimp list.

After a friend tested out the form, it worked correctly (they received the opt in email and they were added to my list). Hope that helps anyone having similar issues.
