    I’m attempting to add the WordPress ReCaptcha Integration plugin to WordPress.

    When adding a new contact form (CF7 v4.2) I can see a No CAPTCHA reCAPTCHA button added to the Form tab but when I click it, the Form-tag Generator popup comes up blank.

    I post this here as a CF7 support request because I’m getting the same behaviour with other Google reCAPTCHA plugins which are also meant to integrate with CF7.

  • I’m experiencing the exact same issue. Any help would be great.

    Here’s a screenshot of the error: https://prntscr.com/7fhwj4

    I’m seeing exactly the same screen as JB912. Have since uninstalled (deactivated and deleted) all captcha plugins and CF7 plugin too; reinstalled and still have the same problem.

    I’ve been able to reproduce this in a complete separate environment.

    Should note I’m also running WooCommerce.

    To debug in Chrome, I can see the wpcf7-tg-pane-recaptcha div has a class applied called “hidden”. I removed this class and was then able to see the contents of the tag generator. A recaptcha short code was generated so I pasted it into my CF7 form, saved the form, reloaded the page containing that form, and… I couldn’t see the reCAPTCHA.

    BUMP!

    Any advice guys??

    I’ve got the same problem… and no solution yet.

    I have tried michhes’es Chrome trick and it worked for me
    Working recaptcha tag looks like this:

    <p>[recaptcha* recaptcha-162]</p>

    You will propably get other numeric value in your sites.

    Thanks Elkurczako.

    That captcha code worked perfectly for me ??

    I see the WordPress ReCaptcha Integration plugin was updated (now v1.1.7) and the CF7 popup is no longer blank and allows me to configure and add a relevant shortcode.

    I can now see the recaptcha on the page hosting my form (had to uncheck Disable for known users option first in settings).

    Hi… I’ve updated ReCaptcha… but I still have the problem… Can you give me some advices to understand why?
    Thank you

    Might be worthwhile clearing your browser cache (ctrl+F5).

    FYI I’m now running CF7 v4.2 and WP reCaptcha Integration v1.1.7, successfully.

    Thank you Michhes!
    I probably made a little mess with the plugins.
    I had Contact Form 7 (4.2) and Google No CAPTCHA reCAPTCHA by WisdmLabs (1.1.2)

    Then when I saw your message I added WP reCaptcha Integration (1.7)

    But the system was still not working. Now I have disabled Google No CAPTCHA reCAPTCHA and everything is fine!

    Does it make sense?
    Thank you very much!

    Interesting that you mention that as I did pretty much the same thing (i.e. I initially installed Goole No CAPTCHA reCAPTCHA). I then removed that plugin and installed WP reCAPTCHA, expecting the problem to lie with the reCAPTCHA plugin rather than CF7. Haven’t tried Goole No CAPTCHA reCAPTCHA again as WP reCAPTCHA seems to be working well and I like the administration interface.

    I was having the same issue. It turns out that I had 2 reCAPTCHA plugins installed which were conflicting with each other. This is what I had installed

    * Contact Form 7
    * Better WordPress reCAPTCHA
    * Contact Form 7 reCAPTCHA extension

    I deactivated Contact Form 7 reCAPTCHA extension and then the BWP reCAPTCHA tag generator worked. Not sure if this will help your issue, but you only need these two plugins installed:

    * Contact Form 7
    * Better WordPress reCAPTCHA

    If you have a caching plugin or on a host with aggressive caching (i.e. WPEngine), this plugin may not work for you
