• hi,

i am trying to create a submission form and create a virtual field that using email address as properties.. checked on the checkbox for “forward to this email” coption

but after the form is submited.. the data on the form is capture and store in database but no email is forward to that email address..

is this the way it should work? anyway to forward the form and it data to an email address to notification the user or adminisrator?

    Thanks!

I’m not sure what the issue can be. sounds right how you set it up.
Are you getting any PHP errors?

    hi Desertsnowman,

thank for replying. there isn’t any PHP error, not that i am know of. How do i confirm? is there any smtp setting i need to set before i send out notification? my WordPress is already setup with smtp account to inform when new user join or new post was posted.. so pretty sure the smtp part is working.

any idea what may goes wrong? or do you think i should downgrade WP version?

unfortunately, when I developed DB-Toolkit i didn’t know much about WordPress. This was my first plugin and experience working with WordPress and missed many features. Many of which I recreated in the plugin. One of them was the e-mail. it uses php’s native mail() function.
the best bet would be to see if php mail() is working then work from there.

My host is running WordPress version 3.5.1 and won’t let me down grade. I can’t seem to get anything to be click able under the Form Processors. I see the list but nothing happens when I click on anything. I am trying to have a search with the ability to have a check box and submit check data to a email form.

    Hi Bryan,

you have experienced just the same way i had before, i will have to downgrade from 3.5.1 to 3.4.2 as this is the latest version supported. you may have to download word press via FTP/SFTP method

    check our

    hope it helps.

I was able to downgrade to 3.4.2 and the form processor form emailer works now. But I can not figure how to create a check box field that will copy the content all multiple lines in a text box on the right of screen that will act as contact to me email me inquires.
