    Hi,

I can’t get the booking form to display on this page https://greyhoundinnfreehouse.co.uk/table-booking with the shortcode. It used to work but has recently stopped.

I’m using the latest version of your plugin, WP and DIVI (theme builder).
I’ve tried disabling all plugins but this didn’t work either.

    Many thanks in advance.

    Hi rab,

I’m not sure if you perhaps changed something or figured out what was going on since you wrote this post, but I just checked and was able to view the bookings form (here: https://greyhoundinnfreehouse.co.uk/reserve-a-table/) without any issues. Are you still experiencing any issues related to this?

    Hi @jaysupport,

I setup that reserve a table page because I couldn’t get it to display on this page:

@jaysupport just to clarify, I can’t get the shortcode to work using the DIVI theme builder (it used to work). The /reserve-a-table/ page has been selected in Bookings/Settings/Basic/GENERAL/Booking Page

Thanks for getting back to me and for the clarification. In that case, perhaps the DIVI content is just overwriting the content our plugin is inserting onto the page via the option. I would suggest setting that “Booking Page” option back to blank (i.e. don’t’ use it to select the “Reserve a Table” page as your booking page). Then, open up your page editor for the “Reserve a Table” page and insert the [booking-form] shortcode where you want the form to display.

Thanks for your reply @jaysupport but that’s exactly what won’t work.

I’ve tried adding the [booking-form] shortcode to the page but it just displays a blank bar as per my previous screenshot.

…even when the Booking Page option is blank.

@jaysupport so perhaps your plugin is no longer compatible with the DIVI Theme Builder?

I don’t know about that. I haven’t heard or seen anything that would imply that. Divi does often have trouble with other plugins, but we’ve had no other reports of issues with using our shortcode in Divi, and I’m sure there are a lot of other people using them together.

If you look at the source code of your page, there is nothing at all in that div.

What kind of element are you using there in Divi? Is it possible to change the type of element? What happens if you put the shortcode in a basic text element? Do they offer a specific shortcode element?

Also, is this issue specific just to this page? For example, if you create a new page and then enable the Divi builder on that page, and then put the [booking-form] shortcode on that page, does it show the form?

    Thanks for your reply @jaysupport

I tried adding the shortcode [booking-form] to a new page in both a text module and a raw code module but neither works.

When I inspected the page, no code was injected so I think there is a problem with DIVI compatibility.

    Hi rab,

Are you by any chance using a caching plugin? If so, could you delete your cache and see if that makes a difference? Maybe your site is just outputting a cached version of the page/shortcode and not the newer version with the changes.

And is this issue specific just to this page? For example, if you create a new page and then enable the Divi builder on that page, and then put the [booking-form] shortcode on that page, does it show the form?

    Hi @jaysupport ,

The issue turned out to be Wordfence.
    Hope that’s helpful.

Thanks for your support ?? – greatly appreciated.
