    Hello!

I’m excited for this form. I inserted it into my website and it worked great. However, I found after I changed the form a bit, it no longer works.

I removed the Last Name and Subject fields (to simplify), and changed a bit of the displayed text slightly (names of the remaining fields, as well as the help text inside a blank field). I also changed some settings, like the email address a notification is sent to. But now when an end-user submits this customized form, no email notification is sent. I get the message in the Forms menu from my WordPress admin page, but I really need to get the email as well.

    Thank you in advance!

    Dear @brandfluke,

We have thoroughly checked, and it appears that the form has been submitted successfully. Here is a screenshot link for your reference: https://snipboard.io/piX5g1.jpg

Please be aware that email delivery in WordPress can sometimes be challenging. Ensure that your email configuration is correct, and verify whether your hosting provider supports it. Additionally, you may want to consider using the WP Mail SMTP WordPress plugin to address any potential email delivery issues.

If you continue to encounter the same issue or have further questions, please do not hesitate to let me know.

    Regards,
    Sumit

    Hi Sumit,

I responded to your previous message by email but that must not have gone through. Apologies.

Yes, the form is submitting successfully, but it is not sending via email successfully.

I’ve learned a little bit more about the initial problem.?

I first said that the error occurs when I delete some fields from the form. I just confirmed that this is NOT true.

But I can still simulate the problem. I’ve discovered that when I place the form block in a column block, the form stops sending, even when the form was working immediately before.

Here is a screencast of this issue (let me know if you have access issues): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gB-adZq25cO3utXwIhyBq5TC8_glGEwc/view?usp=sharing

In the video, I create a new form and show how the email feature is working properly. Then I click and drag to relocate that form into the left column of a two-column section of the page. When I try to submit the form again with the new location, it does not work. Each time the form submissions show up in the Forms tab of the WordPress admin page, but the problem I’m experiencing is that the notification email is not sent as it’s supposed to.

You also asked for error logs, I’m not sure how to get these for you. Please advise.

    Thanks for your help!

    Dear @brandfluke,

Let me discuss this with our technical team.

I will keep you posted with further updates soon.

    Dear @brandfluke,

We have followed the same process as mentioned in screen-cast but didn’t find any issue with email delivery.

Can you please check server email configuration once and then check.here we have created an example-page for your reference.

    Sumit,

Thank you for looking into this. I don’t quite understand your last message. What exactly do you need me to do next to troubleshoot this?

    Dear @brandfluke,

I recommend checking the email configuration of your server or reaching out to your hosting support team to address the email issue. They will be able to assist you in resolving the issue if emails are being blocked at the server level.

If you have any more questions or need further assistance, please feel free to let me know.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Regards,
    Sumit

    Sumit,

Since the email notification works when the form is outside a column, and then it stops working when the same form is inside a column, I honestly doubt it’s a hosting or email configuration issue. If you’re not able to help resolve at this point I may just seek out a different form plugin since I don’t anticipate Gmail or my web hosting platform to have much say on this specific problem, which seems like a problem with the plugin.

Let me know if you have any other thoughts. Thanks.

    Dear @brandfluke,
