Format Chat in Post

    Is there any way to format the chat when creating a new post?

    I want to make the text of one person bold to make the conversation easier to distinguish.

  • I can’t think of a method to do this easily, beyond my knowledge. If anyone else knows, feel free to share. Only thing I can think of is to use some JS which looks for eg. a “:” sign per row, and then adds a strong tag around everything that is before that.

    Unless you add <strong>Guy 1:</strong> manually.

    Don’t know if you are still looking, but this is moving in the direction you want. If your theme supports post formats you choose the chat post format. There was a bug in the version I downloaded but if you look in the issues you will see the fix. Hope this helps!
