    Hi there,

I’ve added the wordpress default category and tag taxonomies back on to event entries, and added events onto the main query for archives. They are showing up now when I visit category archive pages, but ‘the_content()’ is producing a shortened output which I seem to have no control over. It seems to be:

    Event Date
    Event Times, Link to event
    Location

Is there any way of changing this? I couldn’t find any option relating to it in the settings.

Thanks in advance for any help.

    James

are you using our formats or showing the default WP-style archive page for events in that category?

    a link may help too

Thanks Marcus. I’m using the default WP-style archive. Unfortunately it’s not yet online. If I’m still having issues I’ll try and get and testing version up tomorrow.

I have, though, made some progress. I managed to find the templates/formats folder, and I’ve created my own ‘event_list_item_format.php’ which seems to be doing the job. Is using placeholders in there the best way to pull information from the event?

Another tangentially related question: Is there any way of removing the information bubble from the map? I’ve got a small version next to the event in this archive, and at the size it’s displaying, the location is clear but the bubble is obviously cut off.

    Thanks again,
    James

    Normally yes.

You can disable the bubble on all maps (or selectively loading the JS snippet via PHP) there’s a few snippets flying around, here’s one thread –
