Format problems in discussion area

  • Questions seem to have the option for formatting, but answers do not. Please see the example in this screenshot

    There is also some unknown text on the right side of the question field. It appears to be a hyperlink to one of the other questions in the discussion forum, but isn’t related, or readable.

    Also, will there be an option for admin to reply to discussions in the dashboard? Currently I’m only able to view the question, but not any of the replies. Nor can I add my own reply.

    My workaround is to log in as a student, visit the course dashboard and click on discussions, reply there, and then if necessary, edit my reply. It would be helpful to have access in the same way comments work on blog posts.

    I will put in a request to see if we can get this added for the answers too ??

    Right now you can manually add in linebreaks like this:

    First paragraph
<br />
Second paragraph

    I’m thinking your students won’t know to do that though, so hopefully we can get this added in!

    This is a good point, I had never thought of that – definitely makes sense to allow the admin to post as well ?? I will mention it to the developer.
