Format the date in Posts

Hello everyone,

I′m using the Customizr-Theme on a German website. When publishing a date, it′s always formatted in “F j, Y”, for example “August 13, 2018”. I want to change that in this format: 13. August 2018 (j. F Y). On which position can I edit this? I already changed in my backend “Properties – General – Date Format”, but nothing happens on the frontend.
