Hi, thanks for the great plugin!

Unfortunately, I have the following issue:
When I edit the story, it all seems ok, but after I publish it, the text format & image shapes get all distorted. Here’s an example:

    View post on imgur.com

I’ve tried to check for errors in the web console, AMP validator tool, and troubleshooting mode too (site health plugin) without finding anything.

Also, the built-in checklist inside the editor goes crazy. Asking me to add the poster, description & other hints… as like I’ve just created a blank story.

My WP is running on the latest WordPress version, with PHP version 7.4.13, MariaDB 10.3.21, 512M memory.

    Thanks for any help!

@bendziii Hi there! Nice job troubleshooting and thanks for sharing all of these details.

We’ll need some additional items to help troubleshoot:
    1. Does this issue occur in an incognito browser?
    2. Are you using an existing template or when you create a new story?
    3. Who is your hosting provider?
    4. Could you send your Site Health information privately through this form.

Hi @luckynasan, here are the details:

    1. It happens in both normal browser & incognito too. Tried both Firefox & Chrome.
    2. No template, new story from blank.
    3. Hosting: websupport.sk
    4. done

    thank you!

@bendziii Thank you. Curious: on the page that is rendering differently when published, could try removing the animation effects to see if that makes a difference?

Additionally, could you install the AMP plugin as a workaround and have the AMP settings like this, update your story, then test the URL in the AMP test tool for any validation errors.

    Removing the animations didn’t help.

But after I’ve installed AMP plugin, it seems to be ok.
    I’ve configured it as instructed.
The AMP test tool says “Not an AMP page”.

    Thanks for help!

    Hey Ben,

Glad this resolved the styling issue. However, it’s not ideal that the AMP test tool says it’s not an AMP page.

With the AMP plugin installed, cold you please try the following:

    1. Open the story in the editor and click “Update”
    2. In WordPress admin, go to AMP -> Validated URLs, find your story and click on “Details”
    3. Take a screenshot and share it here

    It should look like this.

I’m especially interested in the number of validation errors found (if any), as well as the “Total CSS size prior to minification” and “Total CSS size after minification” information.

    Hi Pascal,

It says “You have exceeded the CSS budget”, total 36 errors.

Total CSS size prior to modification: 85,957 B
Total CSS size after modification: 81,274 B

    thanks,
    Ben
