    Hello,

I’m currently testing the plugin and it’s great so far.

The duplication feature is really good. But what I noticed is, I cannot copy content from other job listings with formatting such as bold text or ul-listings and paste them into the job description field on the job creation form without all the formatting being removed. I then always have to format them again.

If I paste the copied content into a new blog post on the same website, the formatting is retained. Is there a way to keep the formatting in the job description field as well?

    Best regards
    Manuel

    Hi @marowi

I tested this and this is due to a limitation of the editor being used in the WP Job Manager.

We have an open feature request for this here:

    https://github.com/Automattic/WP-Job-Manager/issues/2076

I have referenced this forum thread on the issue. There is code provided on the issue that may help you, but please be advised that we cannot support the code on that page. You would be using it at your own risk.

    Hi @lastsplash

The code on Github helped me a lot.

    Thank you very much! ??

    Hi @marowi

I’m glad it worked for you!

@marowi — also happy to hear that the code I shared on the Github post is working well for you.

Over the past couple years, I caught one typo (a commented out piece of code for clean formatting of links) and made one addition to have “a name” tags removed (to prevent unneeded code that can otherwise be pasted in from Microsoft Word sources), which I just updated in my Github post (since there aren’t line numbers, the easiest way to see the changes is to paste the old code from your site and the new code in my post into something like text-compare.com to have the changes highlighted).
