    Hello.

I had created every form, at my future ecommerce store, using Forminator forms. I wanted to have plugin sending customer email like: welcome new user email, reset password email etc.

My decision was to buy Email Template Customizer from VillaTheme.

Unfortunetly their plugin does not work with Forminator registration form.

I have contacted with their support team. They have tried to help me, but they can not do it.

After almost 3 weeks of exchanging email, giving theme access to my site, they said their plugin works only with default Woocommerce forms. I did not know it before buying this plugin. Their advice was to contact with you , because only you knows files of the plugin good enough to resolve my issue.

Please help me because it is main thing stopping me from opening my ecommerce clothes store.

I can give you credentials with temporary login, if you would like to check this issue on your own. Just contact me directly to my email:

    Best regards

    Hi @cinek11,

I hope you are doing well today!

Please let us know if you are having this issue with the following plugin.
    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/email-template-customizer-for-woo/

Please provide us more details and also share an export of the form with us, so that we can check further.

You can find more info on how to export the form here : https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#import-export

After exporting, please share the file contents with us using the free services such as Google Drive, https://pastebin.com or https://justpaste.it

Please always make sure to use such services to share the code and don’t post the code here directly as it will most likely be unusable.

    Kind regards,
    Zafer

    Hello.

    Thank you for contacting me.

Yes, my issue is with the plugin form your link.

    The details are as follows.

All messages to the client are not sent. They are replaced by the default Woocommerce emails. The plugin’s creators claim that when they test everything on their own, messages arrive without any problems.

I only receive messages addressed to me as an administrator, for example about a new order in the store.

This is a big problem because good-looking customer messages, such as thanking them for setting up an account, are essential to maintaining customer engagement.

Here is the link to pastebin, from my form code:

    Hi @cinek11

I think we spoke about 2 different issues here. Let me start from scratch about what things we talk about here and issues you’re facing.

First of all Forminator allows to create form where users can register on your site. This does not mean it has integration with WooCommerce plugin. You can only replace default WooCommerce register form on woo register page. Your Forminator form can map WooCommerce fields using Custom User Meta https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#custom-user-meta and that is all.

There is no integration with Email Template Customizer plugin as well.

Please note the default Forminator emails from Activation Method: Email Activation & Manual Approval are our core emails and there is no way to control them by 3rd party plugins.

When it comes to this part:

All messages to the client are not sent. They are replaced by the default Woocommerce emails.

This is not issue with Forminator at all. For example Forminator does not control emails when new order is made. I can only suggest 2 things here:

    1. contact with Email Template Customizer once more why templates does not work on your site
    2. but first install and configure SMTP plugin and see if that helps.

The thing you mentioned is a little bit confusing, as you said those messages are not sent (which means that nothing is sent), but later on, you say that they are replaced by default Woo emails (which means that something is sent anyway). This simply means that Email Template Customizer does not work as it should when it comes to order templates for example. As said, Forminator Activation Method: Email Activation & Manual Approval email cannot be replaced. The rest seems to be an Email Template Customizer issue.

    Kind Regards,
    Kris
