Forminator Form “Freezes” Halfway Thru Form; Can’t Submit

    Having an issue with my Forminator form — for the past two days, I’ve had leads reach out and say that they got halfway through filling out my contact form and they are unable to send.

    I’ve tried testing it myself and I can’t navigate to the next section even after clicking the ‘next’ button numerous times.

    Haven’t modified the form in months, it’s worked fine without this issue. All other plugins are updated.

    Any thoughts??

    Hi @bettertogether2,

    Hope this message finds you well.

    After visiting your site I noticed the form is paged and has conditionally visible fields, are some of those conditional fields also required?

    If so, the issue might related to a bug in the recent release, which causes this problem in such cases. Our developers are already aware of it and are working on an urgent fix for that. I don’t have ETA but I would expect it quite soon as it’s an important issue.

    For now, a workaround is to downgrade the plugin to the previous version.

    1. Download the previous version (1.32) from this page

    The previous versions should be at the bottom.

    2. Using the Plugins manager install it using the Upload option, and replace the current version.

    Kindly clear any server, or plugin caching your site might have.

    Hi there, is there a way to download it as a ZIP file? I tried that but it doesn’t download it as a ZIP and apparently, WordPress requires it. Thanks!

    You just need to select the version and click the “Download” button under the Advanced Options here https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/forminator/advanced/, it should provide you with a zip file.

    I had exactly the same problem: some clients couldn’t complete the form because the Next button wasn’t working (not even in the form preview). I downloaded the previous version and now it works correctly. Thank you all ??

    It downloaded as a folder for me, but I compressed it and it became a zip file.

    Hi all, I downloaded and installed the new version (1.4) and demo’d the intake form and it worked!! Thanks so much for the help and the quick fix!
