Forminator forms reload page instead of submit data while embedded

Hi @gveyret,

– On one form, which is about applying to job offers, it is mandatory to attach a document (resume) before submitting. However, once you click the button to attach the document, the page gets reloaded.

I could notice the issue when I check the form configured for the “Envoyer ma candidature” button.

Could we know which plugin you use for the popup? Looks like the issue might be more of a conflict.

Possible to check whether you get the same issue if you temporarily keep all the plugins disabled except Forminator and the popup plugin?

– On another form (page services), I use the same type of embedded form, but without uploading options. Although, when I click on submit button, page gets reloaded and data is not submitted, no errors are showing, nothing.

I suppose it’s the /nos-services/ page under the “En savoir plus” button. Could notice the issue as you have mentioned.

However, I’m afraid both issues still looks more related to a conflict. Please do let us know how it goes if you are able to replicate the issue with all plugins deactivated as mentioned above so that we could have a better idea of how to move forward.

I am using “Popups for Divi” plugin (version 3.0.5 by divimode.com) to enable popup. And yes, if I deactivate it, it seems to be working fine.

So I Assume I have no other options that use another plugin or another integration for my forms.

Any idea of what could be fixed if I want to keep current configuration ?

You can use the WPMU DEV hustle plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wordpress-popup/ as an alternative for PopUp, but I checked the PopUps for Divi and couldn’t replicate any issue, could you please export the form and share it here: https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#import-export and share using pastebin.com or Google Drive?

For now, I used another way to display the 2 forms directly inside the page, using a bit of code but in some case it won’t be ideal.

I made a test on my lab with your forms and the current version of Popups for Divi and I was able to replicate the same issue. Please note we had issues in past with Popups for Divi which was not showing Forminator forms.

I escalated this case to our Formiantor developers not as a bug, but more like a review to see is this Popups for Divi or Forminator bug/issue.

As for now we suggest using our Hustle plugin, as mentioned above, to trigger those popups on the site.

It is not possible to provide an ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival)

However, we could say that the bugs/review of the previous bugs have the highest priority upon improvements and feature requests, so it will be checked again and most likely be fixed and released with the upcoming updates.

Is it possible to have multiple forms that have some common features and others that have their own unique fields?

The forms have already been created. However, we want to apply some changes across all forms (rather than individually), whilst retaining some other fields which are specific to each form.
