Hi @mikewillochell
Thank you for response and I’m really sorry that this issue is affecting you for so long.
I’m afraid, however, that there’s no straight “what to exclude” guide. It’s nearly always related to specific of the site and with optimization being custom it’s difficult to diagnose.
Even if you exclude all Forminator’s CSS and JS from optimization, I still can’t say for sure if it will work. It’s because of the way various JS scripts/CSS assets affect each other/depend on each other and that, in turn, depends also on specific configuration/setup of the site and the way all these scripts are optimized.
In the end, fixing such issues in cases like this i’s always a matter of a mix of some investigation using browser console and some “experimenting” based on that, I’m afraid.
If nothing worked so far, then I’d suggest trying to disable all the optimization of JS and CSS entirely. It will very likely significantly affect site’s performance but you’d at least be able to see if this solves the issue with forms for good.
If it does then bring back optimization but then first try excluding all Forminator JS and CSS so that’s basically every JS and CSS file that has “forminator” string in filename and the “/wp-content/plugins/forminator/assets/forminator-ui/js/select2.full.min.js” file.
If this doesn’t help, then try also excluding jQuery library from optimization.
Kind regards,
Adam
