Forms show "reCaptcha" but not the image

Same issue here, you’re not alone.

I think I have it figured out, Scorpiono! I am using Formidable Forms, which now includes a reCaptcha field. Not realising this, I had also installed the BestWebSoft’s Google Captcha. I inactivated the latter and, voila! my problem is gone.

Hope this works for you. I can’t tell you how big a relief it was to finally figure this out!

When you click ‘submit’, it shows an array of photos that you have to perform a Verify action on.

Does anyone have any idea how I have caused this?

Hi,

Google Captcha generates array of photos in case it “think” you’re a source of spam.

As a rule, it happens for several reasons:
1) You send a lot of letters at once via contact form;
2) During the sending you click “Submit” button several times without entering captcha (or if you enter the wrong value);
3) Earlier, you tried to send or receive some data on your site via the form with captcha and entered a wrong captcha value.

Please don’t worry, it is a standard Google Captcha functionality, not an error.

My case is a bit different, I use to run reCaptcha from bestwebsoft fine on my registration page. As soon as I upgraded to latest wordpress and latest plugin version, it stopped rendering the field where you have the google checkbox. It’s not just me, all other users are experiencing the same thing.

Quite frustrating as the regular Captcha doesn’t really work very well, I still see spambots completing the 1 + 2 protection forms so I’m highly dependent on reCaptcha.
