My forms work fine in other browsers (Chrome and Firefox), but submitting forms in Sarafi shows and error message: The form was unable to submit. Please contact the site administrator.

When I turn on WPForms logging, I see that these submissions are all being marked as spam. If I uncheck off the “Enable anti-spam protection” setting, the forms are submitied successfully.

I would like to continue using the built-in anti-spam protection. Is this a known issue with Safari and/or is there a work-around?

    Hi @imfromio,

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues with email delivery.

To troubleshoot the issue, you can check that your form notification settings are configured correctly by following our tutorial.

If your notification settings are correct, the issue is likely because the emails sent from WordPress are not authenticated (unlike emails sent from dedicated email service providers) and not because of the browser used to send the form. As a result, they are likely to be filtered by the receiving mail server.

To resolve email delivery issues like this, you can configure a SMTP plugin on your site so that emails are sent as authenticated. We have an article with a list of recommended SMTP options and links to their setup tutorials.

Also, it looks like you are using a paid version of WPForms so please feel free to drop us a line through our contact page.

From there, our support team will be able to take a closer look at your request.

    I hope this helps ??

Thanks for your reply. I do not think this is a SMTP issue since the forms get submitted properly when using Chrome or Firefox. The issue only occurs when using Safari. you can test this by following the link I attached.

    Hi @imfromio,

I took a look at your site and I could see that there are some Javascript errors that could also be contributing to the issue which might be caused by a plugin conflict or a custom code that is added on your site.

When you get the chance, could you please try using the steps in WPBeginner’s detailed guide on troubleshooting WordPress to see if it helps resolve the issue?
