• Going through about half a dozen sites where I’ve used this plug-in, the forms I’ve created are simply gone.

The area where they were in the site is blank and on the back end they are not in the list of forms I’ve created.

I go to make a new form and it falls in line to the next # and not #1, so maybe form #1 is still in there somehow? Please help ASAP bring back the forms I made!

    thanks

    actually… de-activating and activating only brought back a default form I’m realizing…

previous fields AND form submissions are all gone!

anyone know what’s going on? How do we bring back the previous forms/fields and submissions!?

I’m having the same issue across 4 websites. Any help would be much appreciated!

    danhalenmhk,

until the issue is fixed, here’s what I did (maybe this helps you):

de-activate and re-activate plug-in… the previous forms and submissions are still nowhere to be found, but the plug-in works.

Then using “the way back machine” web.archive.org, to see what I actually had already made in previous forms, I went and made a new form following snapshots of the site (hopefully the internet archive has what you need there). Updated the contact form # in the page content and tested it and it works…

it’s a not-so-quick fix for now, but hopefully there’s a fix sooner than later, especially if folks want to download previous form submissions…

Having the same problem. The database has no data for the saved forms or submissions. I’ve deactivated and reactivated, but no change. Usually I try to keep my sites up-to-date and backed up, but that depends on the circumstance. Any idea why they’ve vanished from the database?

The exact same thing is happening to me with two client sites. What’s going on?

Same here. I’m wondering if it was because of the automatic update from WP v3.9.1 to 3.9.2 – the timing seemed to co-inside with this update on mine.

Fortunately, I have the Database Manager installed, and was able to restore the data, at least to July 17th. Still lost a weeks worth however.

Updated from wordpress v3.9.1 to v3.9.2 and all data is gone! OMG it’s gonna take me days to bring all this stuff back…I had many forms on many sites… :(((
Please is there a way to restore the data somehow from somewhere?

We’re also having the same issue – all of our website contact forms have disappeared on our site and from the plugin. We did a recent backup of the site – is it possible to upload any previous forms or do they need to be created from scratch again?

Same problem here. Just signed in to a client’s site and discovered 39 forms are gone. I tried to deactivate/reactivate; that didn’t work.

If I have to rebuild all these forms, I will use a different plug-in. Can’t take this chance again.

Does anyone know: Did the intervention from www.ads-software.com cause the problem?

Just FYI, I downloaded the 5.1.0.3 version of this plug-in and re-installed it. That didn’ bring back any of my data. Updated to 5.1.0.4 again to make sure the site is secure.

Wondering if this is a problem with WordPress 3.9.2. It would be very nice if the developer would respond!

One of my forms Vanished also. That was because I was running an old version of the plugin. But on my other site I was running a recent one and the form stayed in tact.

That’s why its wise to always update your plugins. they aren’t just whistling Dixie When they preach that to you. I know if you customize a plugin or its important to your site you don’t wanna take that chance.

But, its necessary so these problems don’t happen. From now on I’m updating all my plugins.
