Forms will be deleted when you log out!!

  • Ok.. so i’ve installed the plugin, started created forms with custom CSS etc. Spent some hours. Then I wanted to test something and “logged out” of the plugin in my WP admin.. guess what, all forms are gone when you log back in, even with the same API key wtf…

    Actually, the behavior you encountered is actually expected for the plugin in question. When you install the plugin, you build an integration between WordPress and Brevo. By removing it, you delete it.

    When the plugin is uninstalled or removed, it removes all associated data, including the settings and configurations you had meticulously set up. This means that upon reinstalling or reactivating the plugin, you will need to recreate the forms and reconfigure the settings from scratch.

    hi @alexisbienayme, I sort of understand why that would happen but maybe put a nice big red alerting message under the logout button that all forms will be deleted :). Actually the reason I chose to logout was that there is no way to trigger a sync for the account. I can sync users with a button but not lets say sync / update / refresh the attributes with a button.

Adding an alert message under the logout button to inform users that all forms will be deleted is indeed a valuable suggestion. I will forward this to our Product team for consideration in future updates to our application.

    Once the plugin is installed, the sync is done automatically for new contacts. The button can be used to sync old contacts (that were added before the installation of this plugin).

    I just logged out, not unistalled or deactivated the plugin. But all forms are gone. Why?

    The logout where necessary because the forms didn’t show the double optin email model i created in brevo. Only login/logout refresh the list. But it removes all forms. So it makes the plugin USELESS. Can you give me a solution to this issue please?
