Forum and opt-in

  • I have a forum on my website. How can I make so people that register to make post on my forum also joins my mailing list. I want to send mails to this people, is that possible?
    I am not talking about spamming just info and new on my site.

    Legally, it’s still considered spam if they don’t either sign up for the mailing list separately or choose to opt-in while registering for the forum.

    I know when I register on other forums. I usually get forum messages. I must login to the forum and from it read the message.

    Is it not possible to send forum message either?
