Forum are blocked

Hi, thanks again for great plugin.

I have one issue which I can’t solve.

Participants can’t add new replies in topics – they have a message instead of reply form: Forum are blocked. Administrators and moderators can add reply without any issue.

This is strange because under the post itself (which is cloned as a topic on the forum), Participants can add reply too, but not in the Forum.

Any idea how to solve this?

Hi, Nick – thanks a lot for quick response.

After many different tests and hours of frustration (mainly CSS), I came to the conclusion that instead of BBPress on my website I will implement BuddyBoss theme and platform (I’ve had my license for a long time), when BBPress is forked.

The best part is that your plugin works great here!!!

You see, I had to go through a long journey of experience to come up with such a great solution.

P.S. Little suggestion:
If you want, you can give your plugin an extended title:
Post Comments as bbPress/BuddyBoss Topics – this will definitely increase the reach of interest in this excellent plugin.

Good idea on the rename.

I actually use Buddyboss, as well as strongly recommend it to anyone, in comparison to buddypress/bbpress. My involvement here came when I wanted to make sure the plugin was compatible with Buddyboss – a few minor tweaks were necessary.

To confirm, the issue you reported here has gone away when switching to buddyboss? If so, please close the ticket – someone can open a new one if the find the same problem.
