Forum Moderator with no other access

    Hi there, I′m trying to create a Role for becoming a Moderator for our Forum (WPFORO)

    the users are managed by Memberpress and have in general NO access to the backend, to manage the Forum I need to grant access to the dashboard.. I tried the AUTHOR but with this role you can also access partly Memberpress, and some other plugins. I do not find a way to only grant access to the Forum related Dashboard. thanks for help

    Before we proceed, did you check with the plugin to see what the required capabilities are to access it?

    hi thanks for getting back to me… can be any role even a new one but the role needs to have access to the dashboard and all roles which have access to the dashboard can also see some other plugins .. does it make sense ?

    Hi @actev,

    You can navigate to WP Dashboard > Members > Addons and enable Members – Admin Access addon to set which user has access to WP Dashboard.

    Also, you can check Admin Menu Editor to set which role can access which items in menus.
