forum notifications

I posted one question, one time. Since then I have been receiving 40+ notifications of forum notifications — none of them related to my question, all of them about different topics — DAILY. I’ve tried going back and unclicking the boxes that should opt me out of getting these, but they still come. I’ve tried going through each notification and checking that it’s unclicked, still 40+ more the next day. I’m almost afraid to post this question because I don’t need more notifications. But this really needs to stop. I don’t have time to go through 40+ emails daily, making sure I don’t delete something I want to keep (like a regular email to me that might actually have something to do with me).

“Subscribing” means that you want to get emails about the topic. You can turn that off by clicking the Unsubscribe button on that page.

It takes effect immediately, you won’t get any more emails from that subscription, after you click that button.
