Forum Roles not showing up

Forum Roles

By default bbpress displays the forum role eg Participant, Moderator, Keymaster etc. against the username on topics and replies.

This tab lets you decide what roles will be displayed, where they are displayed, what names they are called, and how they are styled

For instance you may not want to display roles at all, or only display moderator. You might also want to change “keymaster” to say “Admin”

The function doesn’t seem to be working I have it set up like how I did on my other theme however this one isn’t seeming to work. Unsure if there might be a bug.

ok, so if you have had it working on one site but not another :

it could be a theme or plugin issue

Themes

As a test switch to a default theme such as twentytwenty, and see if this fixes.

Plugins

If that doesn’t work, also deactivate all plugins apart from bbpress and style pack and see if this fixes. if it does, re-enable one at a time to see which is causing the error.

If you cannot do this to your site (say because it is live) then use the ‘troubleshooting’ features of this plugin to let you test without affecting other users

I did happen to have to do some back end coding for my theme but I did happen to get it to work.
