Forum shortcode opens new page

Hello,

If you add a shortcode such as [wpforo item=”forum” id=”2″] on a blog page, forum displays well but once you click on a link (such as menu member), it opens a new page. Is there a way to keep everything on same page, kind of ajax behavior? Thanks

Note: i would like to replace default blog comments by a forum
Tested WPForo 2.0.9 and firefox web browser

Hi @boabo,
Yes because the shortcode calls the current wpForo page in the WordPress page, and if you click on a link, it has to take you to the needed page. That’s how wpForo works.
