• My site is https://appletechtalk.com. I am running WordPress 4.4.2, a child theme of Simple Catch 3.1, BBPress 2.5.8 and bbPress new UI plug-in 3.5.0.1.

Someone just brought to my attention that my Forums do not appear on my Forums page. All that shows up is the sidebar.

I’m not sure when these disappeared or why. I tried rolling back my theme, bbPress and the bbPress New UI plug in to a couple of versions ago but that did not correct the problem. I then switched to the Twenty-Fifteen theme and the forums appear on the page again.

Can anyone give me an idea what happened or what I can do to fix it?

    Appreciate any help.

    Regards,

    David

    Hi:

Thanks for your note. Yes, it appears my issue has been resolved. In looking at some of the html I discovered that some extra code was being placed on the page which appears to have been due to some formatting I added when creating the source document in Microsoft Word.

Now that I am aware of what is happening I am able to prevent it by not putting formatting in the document or saving it as plain text.

    Regards,

    David
