Yes, disabled the plugins I could and tried a wordpress default theme, and the issue I think is there still?

I’ve found that when you go to either the events pages, your blog, in otherwords to a “category” the events you’ve posted show in the “Recent” widget. However, if you go to a “page” like the Home Page, contact us, etc., a non-category page or link, then your posted event DOES NOT show in the Recent widget. Even the posted event page that’s generated those events don’t show in the recent widget.

So, in other words…. Added events don’t show in the recent widget (nor in any recent listing based page elements) unless the particular page you are on is “category” based/linked. Standard “pages” don’t show recent events.

Hope you can fix this soon, cause that’s a bother that most of the site, especially the home page doesn’t list the recent events.

Oh, you can see my site here, https://www.leeuniverse.com

p.s. The recent event’s also don’t show in my News feed, of course, that’s a home “page”, so we know that already.

So, I tested the plugin with no other plugins on a fresh wordpress install with a default theme, and the issue also occurs there.

    See here: https://www.evergrowbusiness.com/

You’ll see I added an event and it doesn’t show in the “recent” listing no matter the page one is on. But it DOES show in the recent list if you go into the Category (Uncategorized).

I’ve tweaked the plugin so you can select to display events on your recent posts list.

    But….

It will not list by the event date, the recent posts list uses the publication date of the post/event.

Anyway, if you want the update to test email me via the plugin website: https://quick-plugins.com/quick-event-manager/

That’s fine…. It’s a post, wouldn’t expect it to display according to event date.

    Wonderful, email coming. ??

Email received and returned with an update (if hotmail doesn’t put the message in the junk)

Sorry, I’ll go ahead and try it out now….
My ISP had a major outage and I lost internet for 3 days, LOL

The latest version of the plugin has this feature
