    Hi @tdcpnm,

The breakpoint widths were selected to match those used by WordPress in the Customizer (i.e., 320px for mobile and 720px for a tablet). These are obviously not representative of all devices and arguably inappropriate, given the screen sizes and pixel densities of devices nowadays.

We have already worked out on a solution which will allow you to customize both breakpoints to your specific app/website need, which is ready and in the testing process and should be available in next update.

    Thanks,
    Munir

Fantastic! At last an answer to the breakpoints problem. This will at last make Tailor a viable alternative to other builders as the biggest sticking point has been its problematic mobile stacking.

When will the new release be out?

    Hi @fatherb,

Exactly the point we considered while fixing the breakpoint issue, we actually come up with this solution to allow users to alter it easily via the settings.

About the release time, I can say it’s already done and just in the testing phase and should be released within 3-5 days hopefully.

Is there some sort of immediate patch we can use for the meantime? I’ve got a live site and mobile functionality is required sooner rather than later.

    Hi @tdcpnm,

You could have it controlled via custom CSS with your defined breakpoints in the meantime.

Btw the release is just around the corner and will not take much time hopefully, just some testings and some other bug fixes are in progress.

    Munir

Thanks @munirkamal –?I’m not a developer so that’s a bit above my ability unfortunately

Are you pretty close to release now?

The new version is live now. Please update and you will find the new options under Customizer ? Tailor ? Layout.

By default, it gets the break points same as WordPress customizer, however now you can modify that.

If you are not sure about what breakpoint size you should use, I would suggest you try

    Mobile: 767
    Tablet: 979

Please confirm if this resolves your issue and mark this thread as resolved.

    Regards,
    Munir
