framed themes

Hello:D thanks for reading, I have two concise questions if you all could be so kind as to share some knowledge.

I have a separate site that will not easily integrate with WordPress, however, that site lacks the ability to have fancy headers or the widget capacity of WordPress. I would basically like a theme that is a header, no sidebars, and footer that utilizes 100% of the screen’s width.

One major issue I’ve been having is figuring out how to (using the iframe plugins) have WordPress adjust its height to the height of the content in the iframe. I am unsure if/how this is possible, or what plugins are needed for such.

In short, I need:
1. Suggestions for a theme that is extremely basic, header and footer only.
2. Advice on how to manage a frame within WordPress.
