    Hi,

Great plugin indeed, my favourite besides ACF! However it doesn’t support the free ACF 5.6.7 version out of the box, which is now available in an early access program according to the ACF team announcement. The free version looks highly compatible with the PRO version, at least I could run Advanced Forms plugin (1.3.3) flawlessly after disabling the direct check for the acf_pro class in the source code.

Do you intend to support the free (early access) 5.x version, wait for the official plugin version, or would support only the PRO version?

I’m hoping for at least the second answer ??
    Thanx!

Makes me happy to hear you’re enjoying it!

There are some parts of AF which require ACF Pro, mainly the form settings page which uses a repeater field for the notifications. I would love to support the free ACF version but it would take some work to replace the repeater fields (and option pages I’m planning on introducing in the future).

Unfortunately I have different priorities in regards to AF right now and support won’t come in the near future. I hope that’s fine and that you’ll continue enjoying AF with ACF Pro!

Sorry to hear that, as I’m currently using only the free (early access 5.x) version, for my not particularly complex needs that’s just enough. But as the compatibility is not guaranteed with AF, I will move on to the PRO version, that’s one of the few plugins that I don’t mind paying for, I get real value for my money especially with AF.

Thanx anyway, and keep up the good work!
