I’m using the Plug-in Suite. I have installed WooCommerce integration and have Free ads and Premium Ads.

When a Test user posts a Free ad, it is listing the Expires column in the Classified section as NEVER. When I created the Woo Product for the Free ad, I listed 7 as the days of duration for Free ads.

How do I get Free ads to expire after 7 days?

    Hi,
i understand the user selects the WC product with 7 days expiration period and has the expiration date set to Never instead of 7 days in the future?

If so then it looks like some kind of bug but i cannot seem to replicate it in any way, can you paste here a link to your page with [adverts_add] shortcode so i can see how you have it configured?

Here is an image of the admin page for the Classifieds.
The two ads circled in red were both posted as FREE ads, which has the number of days visible set to 7.

    Thank you for your help.

    Hi,
thanks for the link, but the page you linked to is an Author registration page not [adverts_add] shortcode?

I have the site setup to force non-members to register before they can post an ad. If you create a test account, the next screen is the [adverts_add] page.

    Hi,
ok i allowed myself to register and went to https://www.secondacttoys.com/dashboard/?author-panel=create-ad, the “FREE Ad Posting” actually shows as “Never Expires”?

Please edit this product from wp-admin / Products panel and in the field “Ad listing duration” type “7” (even if you already see it there) and save the product. Then go to https://www.secondacttoys.com/dashboard/?author-panel=create-ad and see if the “Never Expires” text is replaced with something like “Visible 7 days”.

    Great! That did it.
I guess I didn’t realize the ‘7’ in the Product Duration box was just a placeholder. I figured it was already typed in there.

Thank you for clearing this up for me! I appreciate your time!

    Hi,
yes, i think this is actually quite confusing and it will be changed in the next WPAdverts WC release :).
