Free business account is required?

  • Second time this has happened, my instagram account got disconnected and in place of each image I have a notice that a free business account is required, etc. etc.

    This would be more manageable if the instructions you give for navigating through Facebook to set one up were correct.

    It’s too much of a bother if other plugins do the job.

    Hi @tommcgee, unfortunately, this is something imposed on all plugins that use the Instagram API from Meta. Business accounts are automatically disconnected every 3 months or so and have to be manually reconnected. With Personal accounts, the reconnection is automatic.

    That being said, the images should remain there even if the account is disconnected, so I’d like to look into that for you.

    As for the Facebook-related instructions, can you please clarify which documentation that is? We’ll work on updating it to make things more clear.
